History:
Valencia CF will welcome Cádiz CF on Wednesday, the 2nd of February at 9 pm kick-off time (CET) at Mestalla in the Copa del Rey quarter-final tie which will be played over a single leg in a knockout tie type of format.
Valencia CF have welcomed Cádiz CF 14 times across all competitions with a strong record of ten wins, three draws and only one loss against the Andalusian side.
The latest Copa del Rey clash between these two sides dates back to 2011. Valencia CF beat Cádiz CF by a 4-0 scoreline in the home leg and then saw it through in the away leg at the Ramón de Carranza.
Valencia CF and Cádiz played earlier this season in the south of Spain at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla which finished goalless on Matchday 8 of LaLiga.
Valencia CF’s latest winter transfer window recruitments, Eray Cömert, Ilaix Moriba and Bryan Gil will be available for the big home game in midweek as Valencia CF will try to book a place in the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
